Savory Ground


Powdered version of dried savory, which is related to the mint family. Has a taste similar to thyme and mint mixed together. Used to flavor soups, meat, fish, poultry, and stuffing. Mixes well with other herbs (oregano, basil, or marjoram) that can be used in making Italian pasta sauces. Grows in temperate climates in southern Europe.
