Cloves, Ground

Cloves are the unopened flower buds of a tropical tree native to Indonesia. Very pungent and aromatic. Ground cloves are used in spice mixtures such as curry powders. Also enhances the flavor of wild game; and they complement other spices in oatmeal cookies and spice cakes.
